Harmony Dignity
Advancing Whole-Person Care
Whole-Person Care
The following healthcare essentials are provided to help restore humanity and respect, starting here.
H.R. 1 Execution
Mandatory Hours
Enrollees aged 19 to 64 in ACA Medicaid expansion programs must complete 80 hours per month of work, education, job training, or community service to maintain coverage.
Effective Date
States are required to begin full implementation of these community engagement rules by December 31, 2026 / January 1, 2027.
Parent/Caregiver Requirements
The rules expand work expectations to include parents and household members with children age 14 and older, lowering the prior exemption threshold that covered parents with children under 18.
Exemptions
Federal rules provide exemptions for specific groups such as pregnant and postpartum individuals, though state implementation details can vary.
Community-engagement requirements and implementation details may change. Verify current federal and Nevada requirements when determining eligibility or compliance.
